Beautiful park, small, but lovely. Trails are great and the camp sites have decent coverage between each other. There are some gorgeous sites right on the river or the lake. The biggest issue is that they advertise a dog exercise area but if anyone is using the group camping, it no longer exists. We called prior to arriving and were told there was a dog exercise area and that dogs could swim at the boat launch however, upon arrival and after driving four hours, we find out there is no dog exercise area (its even written in the park newsletter that there is one at group camping). There are signs that dogs are not allowed at the boat launch even though the staff said we could prior to our arrival. Luckily, our dog walked the trails like a champ, a tired dog means less barking at the site and ensures our neighbours enjoy their park stay as well. Its pretty disappointing to receive false info when we were booking or vacation and driving a decent distance to get there. Otherwise, we had an amazing time and recommend the park.

Wonderful woodsy campsites. Quiet and spacious. We had # 174 which has a nice waterview but it was listed at the park store as a "pull-through" ... Which might be true if you were on a motorcycle; otherwise you'd have a tree as a hood ornament!Really nice flush outhouses but there's a boil water advisory

Nice park. It's not very busy this week. Late September. The only issue is the road going into the park is really rough in a few places. It definitely needs to be repaired.

Reading other reviews, most I agree with, especially about activities and beauty. Pulling a 30' 5th wheel, though, these sites are definitely not large. Choose carefully if you are making reservations unseen. Many sites are not level, requiring hefty blocking. We were disappointed that the firewood we purchased there was wet... making for a smoky and not welcome fire. Shower and toilets were clean and appreciated. Electric plug in's may be 75 feet away. Come prepared!

An amazing park, with excellent facilities, sites are big with lots of space. Beaches were clean and lots of ample space to wonder and explore. Fishing was good as well. Lots of different water bodies to explorer. Highly recommended for a family adventure. Shower facilities were top notch for a park. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
